After the last 2 sharpshooter runs, many people requested that I do gunslinger next. The map we played this on is the original KF1 map West London directly ported over to KF2. We only had 5 people at the moment for this run since It was already pretty late when we started playing and no one was on to fill the spot. But thankfully with Controlled Difficulty we are still able to Scale HP for the zeds accordingly mimicking the standard 6man HoE. Going into West London was difficult especially with only 5 people. Originally if we had another player with us, we would of scaled the zeds up a tad bit higher. Up to 50 is what we usually aim for during a standard CD run on dtf_v1. But because of how strict and demanding the spawn cycle and map is, we scaled their numbers down to at least 10 less making it 40 to beat the map for the first time. The only spot to hold out is down the street by the bar and church. Solid spot to manage after the first 100+ zeds then you gotta kite if you get overrun. Kiting in West London is by far quite a challenge since youre going in one big circle. Zeds of any kind can flank your position for you and the team and block players trying to push through every narrow end. Every player must stay packed together to slay any big zeds that pose a huge threat pushing forward to be able to complete the kite for one lap around the map. My skill choice is straight forward. DPS Build with rack em up for quick takedowns. The only real difference is that I choose Steady instead of Quickdraw. There are no redeeming qualities about Steady. A slight disadvantage when used but no one plays it. I always kept it on since early access and didnt feel like using Quick Draw. Hopefully well revisit this map with a full squad.
